Move-In Day

If you haven’t already marked your calendars, grab a pen (or tell Alexa) to take note. There are two move-in dates; please check your Resident Portal to find out which one is yours. Move-in is either on August 20th or September 16th 2025. As we get closer to your move in date, you will see updated check-in times listed here. More information coming to you soon!

If you want to avoid late charges (and who doesn’t?), you’ll want to make sure that your first installment is paid by the first of August or September, based on your move-in date. Late charges will apply unless we have received the first installment payment within the three-day grace period, based on your move-in date.

You can pay online through the resident portal using a debit card, credit card or electronic checking transfer, or by automatic recurring charge to your debit card, credit card or bank account. Lucky for you all utilities are set-up by The Cove so don’t sweat, we’ll make sure all the lights are on. We cover the cost of Internet, Trash, and Pest Control but you will start seeing Electric and Water bills a month after move-in.

It’s probably not something you normally think about, but you are required to have at least $100,000 of liability protection by the time you move in, and throughout your stay with us. This doesn’t cost much, and is designed to protect you if you accidentally cause a fire or flood. As unlikely as that sounds, if something happens, you’ll be very glad to have it. How easy have we made it to take care of this requirement? You don’t have to do anything at all; we’ll automatically charge your account $15 per installment, waive the requirement to provide separate insurance, and buy our own insurance to cover the same risks. If you have your own liability insurance and don’t want to be charged for this, please upload your insurance certificate through Foxen and they’ll let you know if it meets the requirements.

Did you make your first installment payment?
Did you enter your vehicle information (if applicable)?
Did you sign any pending documents?
If you answered yes to all of the above, you’re one step closer to your new views. Besides that, all you need to bring with you is a valid photo ID.

Move-in will be based on your move-in date and the home you are placed in. We will be doing a drive-thru move-in with specific time slots to make your move-in as seamless as possible. Your specific timeslot for move-in will be emailed to you soon! Parking is limited so you will only have the timeframe we give you to unload your car unless you have reserved parking with us! There will be moving carts available at a first come first serve basis.

What you take with you matters. We’ve put together a master packing list to help you plan ahead! You’ll find everything you need. And then some.
